The venue was dispiriting although Chicago itself was great. I wish that the free presentations had some real technical meat to them. I felt like they were mostly just feel good. I probably won't be attending anymore SLA events because I don't feel like really get anything out of them.

As usual leadership are totally out of touch with membership.

As with any conference, people need to go with a purpose. While I only attended the conference for two days, I had four significant meetings and attended two social outings. I enjoyed catching up with colleagues in the time I spent which makes the conference a success in my opinion. #slachat
