The SLA 2012 conference survey was e-mailed out to attendees on July 24. The survey closes Friday, August 10, so if you have not completed the survey yet please do so before August 10. You can reference the e-mail you received about the survey or contact SLA for a link to the survey.

The venue was dispiriting although Chicago itself was great. I wish that the free presentations had some real technical meat to them. I felt like they were mostly just feel good. I probably won't be attending anymore SLA events because I don't feel like really get anything out of them.

As with any conference, people need to go with a purpose. While I only attended the conference for two days, I had four significant meetings and attended two social outings. I enjoyed catching up with colleagues in the time I spent which makes the conference a success in my opinion. #slachat
