Kee Malesky has been named the 2012 recipient of the Dow Jones Leadership Award, which recognizes exemplary leadership as an information professional through personal and professional achievements. She will be honored by Dow Jones at SLA’s 2012 Annual Conference & INFO-EXPO, to be held in Chicago, July 15-18.
Kee is the 15th recipient of the award and is honored for her far-reaching and diverse accomplishments as an NPR librarian, author, and contributor to the Special Libraries Association (SLA).
"When a professional displays leadership, passion and innovation in their field, we are proud to honor and recognize them for their achievement," said Daniel Hayter, head of institutional sales, Americas, Dow Jones & Company. "Kee Malesky has continuously demonstrated these traits in her contributions to the information industry as not only an NPR librarian, but as an author, and she could not be more deserving of the Dow Jones Leadership Award in 2012."
