We'd like to thank everyone that contributed to the SLA 2011 service project! By donating clothing items and accessories to the Philadelphia Dress For Success organization, we helped over 350 Philadelphians in need dress professionaly (and feel confident!) in future job interviews.
Special thanks also goes to members from the Philadelphia Chapter, who assisted with the logistics of the effort and made much of it possible. SLA has shown once again that together we can accomplish great things!

"The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life." I was both amazed and happy to read these lines, what a great idea and how come no one has thought of this before?!
