Nominations for the 2011 Class of Rising Stars and Fellows are now open!
Time to start thinking about which of your SLA friends have worked hard, consistently provided strong leadership, or gone above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of the association. Nominations will close on December 1, 2010. Directions and forms are available here.

The SLA Rising Star Award, sponsored by JJ Keller, is presented annually to recognize new members who show exceptional promise of leadership and contribution to the association and profession. The award will be presented to an outstanding SLA member who has one to five years of professional experience as an information professional. View video on SLA-TV.
The Fellow of SLA award is presented to an SLA member to recognize leadership in their career as an information professional. Fellowship is bestowed on mid-career SLA members in recognition of past, present and future service to the association and the profession. View video on SLA-TV.
