Ms. Scott’s memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 25, at the Mary Mother of God Church, 725 5th Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. All are welcome to attend. Ms. Scott’s family has requested that donations be made to the Special Libraries Association in lieu of flowers.

Just a year ago, Kitty was interviewed by President Anne Caputo for the project, Voices of SLA, an international repository of interviews with SLA's elected and volunteer leaders, Fellows , honorees, mid-career professionals, people of significant influence to the profession, SLA staff members and others. Their stories and opinions will have relevance to students, graduate school faculty, information professionals within and outside SLA, researchers, and will serve as inspiration for future generations of information professionals, and for purposes of marketing the Association as SLA and the profession evolve.
