My focus was to assist chapter leaders to achieve if not effortless success then effectiveness with less effort in less time than may have been feared. I reached out to invite discussion of options for e.g. leveraging content and programming across chapters, for addressing the unique challenges and opportunities in each chapter, and for taking advantage of inter-chapter collaboration in meeting practical challenges. I stressed with every chapter leadership team that the Cabinet Chair team is a resource to be exploited. Did I succeed? Inasmuch as my success depends on the degree to which chapter leaders lean on the cabinet chair and on each other, that question is to be judged in the chapters: Only chapter leaders can choose what approaches they deem desirable and then execute them. What was in my control, however, was the dedication and energy I put in!
