This Harvard Business Review article, "American Idol, Open Source, and the Million-Dollar Idea Inside You" was interesting and free (and you don't get much free from HBR), but I really liked the links to the blogs of various industry guru's, such as Seth Godin, keynote speaker at SLA 2008 in Seattle.
